This delicious coffee comes from El Mirador – a three-hectare farm run by producer Evelio Realpe and his family. The farm is located in Colombia’s Pitalito municipality, which is one of the country’s largest coffee-growing regions, thanks to its gentle, rolling hills, which are much easier to farm than the steep cliffs found in other areas. 

This lot was hand-harvested by Evelio and his family, and wash-processed at their small mill. Like many local producers, Evelio uses a rolling fermentation method over 2–3 days, which contributes a vibrant, winey acidity to the cup profile.
